Remember how I was going to grow a Sunflower House?

Remember how I . . . tried?

Yeah, not so much this year.

The best part is that we pulled out the playhouse we had next to our garden fence, gave it to a cousin and assured the kids 'We are growing a NEW playhouse! Out of SUNFLOWERS!! It is going to be AWESOME!!!"

Yeah, Mom.
Awesome.

I...don't know what happened.
Planted a little late...watered a little much...?
Whatever the case may be, I am pretty sure I owe my kids a playhouse.

But, on the bright side...

Aren't they pretty?

(...though, more appropriately...weren't they pretty? Yeah. Got mowed over a couple of weeks ago. Eh.)
