One Pomegranate.

Though our harvest is far from being bountiful yet, we still get excited about any amount of fruit our trees produce. Better known for being an apple time of year (though our apple tree was thwarted by birds nibbling away at all blossoms this year), we got to celebrate it as a time for pomegranates!

Or...a pomegranate.
Just one made it. But we still were quite happy about that one.
Even if it wasn't edible.

But here is a post honoring just that one...

Ben found it.

Everyone helped.

Everyone celebrated.

Daddy opened it.

The tasting began.

And it was sour.

Really sour.

Which made it hard to enjoy.
But at least we could enjoy everyone's sour faces.

As you can see...it wasn't all that exciting of an occurrence. Or post for that matter.
But it represents years to come. Years of overflowing bounty.
I hope.
So, we'll go with that.
Our little sour pomegranate represents hope.
And that's why we like it.
And that's why I bother to post about it.
Amen.
